Friends of Historic Fayette Memorial Pool

Our mission is to partner with the City of Fayette to raise money to preserve, renovate, upgrade and continue maintenance of the Fayette City Pool

Become a Member of The Friends of Historic Fayette Memorial Pool!!!

The funds will help restore and update the City of Fayette’s wonderful Historic piece of History.

The Fayette Pool opened July 4, 1936. It was dedicated as Howard County’s World War I Memorial. The pool was funded by the City of Fayette, through the Works Progress Administration (WPA), Howard County and the State of Missouri. The Art Deco design was patented by nationally renowned civic engineer Wesley Bintz. It is only one of two remaining Bintz swimming pools in Missouri and one of approximately ten still operating in the United States. The pool is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and is a City of Fayette Historic Landmark.

Your generous contribution will be acknowledged publicly. Depending on the level, your name will be placed on a plaque at the pool.
A form is included on the donation page listing levels for donation. The Friends of Historic Fayette Memorial Pool is a 501(c)3 organization so all donations are tax exempt.
